ABOUT TIFFANY:
Tiffany is a proud Aboriginal Gunggari woman who is a space holder for women, children and mothers. With many roles and experience in early childhood education, outdoor education, Aboriginal health, midwifery, doula work and women’s business. In this fast paced world, Tiffany strives to connect women and children to their own nature through honouring the seasons and cycles of the land and connection to Country. Be it exploring the bush with a group of children or supporting a woman in birth, Tiffanys work all comes down to a love of holding space for families. Tiffany wishes for all women to re-member the knowledge and wisdom that has been lost and disconnected from us, for women to have autonomy of their bodies and for women to feel empowered to be their authentic selves so that it ripples into our homes, our children and our community. Last year Tiffany launched the first private Bush School of Toowoomba with a strong vision to bring the community together to support wellbeing, getting children outdoors, to slow down, truth telling and support learning through the land.

Episode 7: Heart Listening and Connecting to Country with Tiffany Gesler

In this episode I have a beautiful and powerful conversation with Tiffany Gesler from Sow and Nurtured. We discuss NAIDOC week, which this year is 3-10 July. It is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, and this year's theme of Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!
We have a conversation about Heart Listening, which is listening with all of our senses and connecting to Country.

ABOUT TIFFANY:
Tiffany is a proud Aboriginal Gungarri woman who is a space holder for children and mothers. With many roles and experience in early childhood education, outdoor learning,  Aboriginal liaison work, midwifery, doula work and women’s business Tiffany strives to connect women and children to their own nature through honouring the seasons and cycles of the land and connection to Country.  Tiffany believes that children as a whole are losing their relationship with the land with little to no memories in nature as our fast paced society has disconnected us. Be it exploring the bush with a group of children or supporting a woman in birth. Tiffany's work all comes down to a love of holding space for families to rewild themselves and to remember that our own magnificence is not disconnected or any different to Mother Nature’s magnificence. We are not separate to her.  Creating Sow & Nurtured, Tiffany’s mission is to support healing with the spirit of the land and her ancestors guiding her through connecting back to Country, reconciliation and age appropriate truth telling with children and families. This work and service supports us all mind body spirit in ways words can not comprehend but by just feeling and heart listening. Keep an eye out on Tiffany growing Sow & Nurtured as she opens Bush School in Toowoomba later in Spring 2022.
